September 11th is Catalonia’s National Day, La Diada. The Government of Catalonia, in collaboration with the Graphic Design Association ADG-FAD, organized a portfolio contest. A panel of experts selected ten finalists to design proposals centered around the sentiment of Catalan identity.

Familia, in collaboration with Forma, was responsible for the exhibition design and communication of the showcase featuring the nine finalist posters and the winning design. The exhibition took place in the gardens of Palau Robert.

Frame and poster

Our proposal was to create a visual language that respected the finalist posters while establishing a unique identity, highlighting the poster as a central element of the exhibition. Additionally, it aimed to convey the idea of a collective showcase that brought together diverse expressions, all while constructing a joyful and festive graphic design that invited visitors to explore the exhibition.
